Each design from the Magenta Collection is hand-painted on a waist loom by the artist Valeria Cuevas.
Each piece is inspired by Mexican traditions and culture, representing the unity of the Pawuamba women's team and artisans from the León XIII Foundation.
The "Milagritos" are crafts shaped like hearts inspired by gratitude and love. They originate from the Istmo de Tehuantepec and have been used as a form of protection or amulet against negative energies and in gratitude for a miracle.
At Pawuamba, we draw inspiration from these crafts because they are part of Mexico's history. We take their colors and details and incorporate them into contemporary designs that can be complemented with the initials of your name, making them even more special and unique.
